Hi Roel,

I can report that my i586-generic system works very well with a AVM B1 
active ISDN card and chan_capi-cm in my box and a USB 10/100Mbit Ethernet 
NIC. I suppose the biggest question will be if there is an appropriate 
EICON driver for the PCMCIA version ... As far as know the maintainer of 
chan_capi-cm is doing the EICON ISDN-BRI CAPI for the DIVAs as well:

Works much more stable in my box than hfc_pci and mISDN ...

With USB-ISDN-adapters I have no personal experience. Just "heard" that 
there were a lot of caveats ...
