FWIW, I was not able to achieve 50 concurrent calls in my test environment. I created 50 call files on the Soekris net4801 266mhz box and those call files connect to a Linux Asterisk server (over 100mbit LAN) where the calls are accepted and a wave file plays when it's extension is called. This may not be the best way to test, but the Soekris just locked up, and eventually rebooted. I was able to get around 20 calls without the system locking up.
I did an identical test on an EPIA ITX 800mhz board with 64MB RAM and was able to push 100 calls pretty clean. I have not had the time to do extensive tests to see where the sweet spot is.
