Well, the finished result of the astbuild script is an image file prepared to 
be put onto a CF card or USB stick with DD under LINUX or with some diskwrite 
tool under WINDOWS.
If you want a bootable CD, as far as I can remember (I don't have my devel 
stuff with me on my research trip :-) ...) there is another script which 
prepares an bootable ISO-image out of the astlinux image file. Just copying the 
kernel BZImage will *not* be enough ...
