Hi,
Oops I noticed now that the image I build with ./astbuild has the name: AstLinux-03152006-LFILE-asterisk-1.2.0-sc1100b.img
Isn't that the single board version and if so How do I build the geni586 with ./astbuild.
Thx and Grtz,
Jack2006/3/16, Jack <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:Hi Juergen,
After days of playing around based on ur writings here: http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/view/AstLinux%252BUpdates I am not at all able to get what I want.
I red that u managed to add chan_capi support into a new image.
As I am not a linux guru, I would like to ask you, if u could post your astlinux image somewhere to download ;-) that would be great.
But of course I will still keep on trying to find out how to make a working custom astlinux image.
For example: is it too simple to do this: I put chan_capi-cm-0.6.4.tar.gz in the /astlinux-devel/sources dir and then in the astbuild file I add the name under #versions section as: chan_capi="chan_capi- cm-0.6.4.tar.gz"
Then run ./astbuild it starts compiling but never chan_capi ;-(
I also tried to update misdn drivers the same way somehow that seems to be going but at a certain moment it asks if I want to overwrite the kernel y/n or prefer to use make install instead, I choose YES overwrite the excisting kernel?
After the image is made and I write it to my CF card but then it doesn't boot it get's stuck on the msg: "loading GRUB, uncompressing the linux kernel"
Jack2006/3/5, Juergen K. Zick <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:Hi all,
despite the bright sun outside I've setup a WiKi page for updating AstLinux
by use of the present development environment:

Please feel free for extensions and error corrections, especially because
I'm not a native speaker of English ...
* corrections are welcome *
