Mike,

        Some day soon I will have separate AstLinux images for Soekris, WRAP, 
i586, etc.  This is what you need to do:

mount -o rw,remount /
vi /boot/grub/grub.conf
add reboot=bios to the end of each kernel line (after astopt=, root=, etc)
:wq (save and quit)
mount -o ro,remount /
reboot (pull power :)

        Once the system has booted back up, you should be able to reboot the 
system with the "reboot" command.
