Kristian,

I can't say that understand this. . . . .

I have tried:
inadyn -u {username} -p {password} -a {hostname} and inadyn sees that I need an
IP change:
INADYN: Started 'INADYN version 1.96' - dynamic DNS updater.
I:INADYN: IP address for alias 'pbx.cardio-sud.net' needs update to
'196.217.221.200'
W:INADYN: Error validating DYNDNS svr answer. Check usr, pass, hostname!

but I have a custom dns service with dyndns so this doesn't work.

but if I use inadyn -u {username} -p {password} --dyndns_system [EMAIL
PROTECTED] -a {hostname}
I get the help output and then :
W:INADYN: Main: Error 'RC_DYNDNS_INVALID_OPTION' (0x44).

In 0.4.0 the format of the inadyn.conf file has changed and I can see that
you've included 'getip.krisk.org' - OK but checkip.dyndns.org seems good as
well (see output form test above).

Your example (previous mail below) doesn't work either.

HELP! (anyone).

-Graham-

BTW:
There was a comment in the lists that if someone reboots often then dyndns is
going to suspend the account.
If the modem is internal then this is normal. . .
The reboot reboots the modem and it goes and gets a new IP - so the IP has
changed - so dyndns needs updating.
If the modem is external the reboot doesn't affect it, so the IP stays the
same. (ie if you're going to reboot a lot get an external modem).
This has nothing to do with caching etc.
