Aside from loving AstLinux and really enjoying using the system on a Net-4801....there is something that really messed me up that I am questioning.
I have been on an older version for sometime now...it was 0.3.x and I ran astup on Friday evening and as it was deleting the /mnt/* I noticed that it was deleting everything on my NAS that I had mounted manually on /mnt/powervault. Once it clicked what it was doing, I quickly cancelled the process but still I have not clue what I have lost on my NAS. Would it be wise to revisit the astup process an ensure that it is deleting known folders instead of wild cards? I'm sure the stuff lost can be recovered via other means but it is just more of a pain than anything else. So the astup failed and I ended up having to pull the pccard and install the new version from scratch. I love it! It is great! I have no issues with it yet (and will remember to unmount /mnt/powervault before running astup ever again).
