how do I permenately fix the /etc/hosts file so it does NOT revert to
some default at reboot time ?

I add a third definition to it and it is gone after the next reboot. I
searched and could not find another file to change while mode is change
from readonly to write. It has been three months since I tried last so
I may have missed a critical step. Please give step by step instructions
so I wont miss a critical point this time when I try.

Adding the line fixes the VoIP service until the next reboot, I just
need to set it so it doesn't disappear at next reboot.

Thanks Rich
