I am having a very intermittent
problem with Asterisk and while it is not a Astlinux problem, I am not sure how
to troubleshoot the problem within Astlinux.
The problem is that Asterisk is
intermittently and rarely going into a looped state.
The symptoms are that the
system does not respond on the console, SSH, or web page. When a call
comes in, via SIP or on the TDM400, the call is extremely choppy but not in a
missed packet way, but in a stuttering kind of way. The box is
pingable.
This occurred on 3 different
hardware platforms (with the TDM400 the only common component) with Astlinux 0.3
and 0.4. Just occurred last night.
I am not stating it is
Astlinux, I believe it is asterisk itself, but how do you troubleshoot such a
problem?
I can find no way to get into
the box.
I cannot reproduce it, but if
there is a way, is there anything I can do to get a process dump in
Astlinux?
