Hi Folks, Whilst waiting for my latest round of paid test work to complete last night I was able to get AstLinux to install on a Neoware Prestige Eon 300 thin client. This machine is a 600MHz Via based machine with all the trimmings and a 15" LCD screen nailed to it. It goes on ebay for about $100 a pop used (these make ideal K12LTSP terminals too!).
Out of the box this machine comes with whatever terminal client you order it with. With a minor bit of deconstruction I was able to remove the CF flash and reprogram it with 0.4.2 from the generic i586 offering. Pictures and load test when I get that far.
