Ingmar,
I've got the fix right now. Just the usual changes in Makefiles and
the havoc that wreaks with patches...
The fix is in 0.4, and I am testing it in trunk now. It should be
fine, and I'll commit it in short order.
Ingmar - we should merge trunk back into your branch.
