thanks a lot for the feedback.

I am wondering if no one else stepped at this problem before. I had a
look at the misdn-init script and indeed it tries to create a backup
conf file as soon as it finds a misdn-init.conf file in /etc. A backup
file cannot be created in /etc because it's RO by default. Either we
have another symlink for the backup file, so misdn-init can save the
backup properly or we remove the copying from the misdn-init script.

Both is possible, one of the two options should be applied. I'll talk to
Kristian.
