HOLD ON A MINUTE !!!!!

this is my fault ... I mistakenly indicated that this machine was an i386 class 
... it is indeed i386 FAMILY but this CPU should run the i586 image just fine 
... it is basically a clone of a P3 and should NOT require a custom compile ...
