I know, I wasn't planning to "upgrade" yet but my motherboard died and it
seems a bad time to buy XP just as it's obsolescent. To be honest, it
hasn't been too bad. TeraTerm and PuTTY work fine with it. I found
Filezilla too buggy and changed to SmartFTP.

It's a clean installation so if it's corrupted I probably have more
serious problems, I think.

It should be getting it by DHCP but it didn't even get that far.
