What I am using at the moment is a centos installation with 1.4 svn. I use #exec in the dialplan, or in fact, whichever .conf file allows for this (sip.conf etc). The #exec retrieves it's information using curl. I am also using realtime curl to run voicemail and queues.
What I would _love_ to have is astlinux running from CF / CD with the default .conf files changed to use #exec. the URL for the #exec could possibly be supplied via DHCP, or have a fixed name (astlinux-config-server) that the DNS server could point to the relevant server. Can I change the .conf files, before burning an image ?
