Welcome.  It's always good to see new people.

Yes completely.

Astlinux supports the basic features that Asterisk supports.  We don't 
support mysql functions, but IVR, queues, vm to email etc all work.  CDR 
data is stored in flat csv files.

We do not have a trixbox type gui.  Newer images (trunk, soon to be 0.6) 
have the asterisk-gui framework that Digium developed.  Lonnie has been 
working on an alternative interface that mostly will allow you to 
configure the non-asterisk stuff.

Routing is enabled when both an external and internal interface are 
defined in the /etc/rc.conf file.

That's probably the easiest.  Please read the message archives as alot
