Really not a fan of the idea of the gui.network.conf file...  The issue 
is that if we want to migrate from astfw to arnofw, or do a version bump 
from 1.8.8 of Arno's firewall to 1.9, then we quickly start getting into 
a permutation matrix of different migration paths, etc.

Better to have just one configuration file, one set of shared variables, 
etc.

At least from my perspective...
