Hi Andrea I'm assuming your trying to run Asterisk 1.4, if so digium have not complied a uClibc g729 codec for asterisk 1.4, I logged a request with Digium in early May (see below), I suggest you also log a support ticket directly with Digium (good luck), there's a bit of history in the forum regarding this issue.
