Still) trying to get to a place where I can build a system that contains all the pieces I need to remotely install / upgrade an asterisk system.
Last time I tried, astlinux very nearly gave me all I needed, with the exception of jabber and curl. Does anyone know if there has there been any further progress on this front ? My ideal scenario is to be able to take the astlinux cd, shove it into a box and have astlinux use the disks for vm / call recording. I have a modified (backported to 1.4) version of the res_curl where all of my config is downloaded from an http server. I just want to be in a position where a non-linux guy can install the base system.
