I am currently trying to use faxes on my astlinux box with a via
motherboard and a digium card and trying to get a better fix on how
faxes work on asterisk.
I was trying to implement
t38pt_udptl=yes
t38pt_rtp=no
t38pt_tcp=no
in the general portion of my sip config and
and
udptlstart=4000
udptlend=4999
T38FaxUdpEC = t38UDPRedundancy
T38FaxMaxDatagram = 400
udptlfecentries = 3
udptlfecspan = 3
in the general portion of the udptl.conf
but my faxes aren't actually using t38, it's being defaulted to g711
alaw.
Is there a configuration that forces a certain trunk to use T38?? And
has anybody tried this previously??
