Unless you're running trunk, there is no special optimization for the C7 
processor.  It simply isn't supported by the kernel in the 0.6 branch. 
That was one of the major reasons for bumping the kernel in trunk to the 
newer kernel.  If this is on trunk, then we'll need to look closer and 
the kernel configs (which is on the list already).

Can we move this to the Developer's list instead of User's?
