Well, this is a shame indeed. As I said in my last reply to one of Philip's
messages, I totally agree with his proposals for tightening up the release
policies of the project (those elements that a layman like me can
understand). I think Astlinux has been extremely lucky to have someone with
Philip's expertise so committed to it for such a period of time. He is also,
I am sure, absolutely right that it will be a struggle to find someone else
with anything approaching his knowledge to come on board.

Anyway, I guess it's looking forward time for the project. Thanks, Philip,
for all your help and work, and the best of luck in the future, in whichever
fortunate projects you involve yourself.
