BTW, the IX100 has been discontinued. OpenVox is now selling the next generation IX110 which is based on Intel Atom. IX100: http://www.openvox.cn/products/show.php?itemid=134&lang=2 IX110: http://www.openvox.cn/products/show.php?itemid=175&lang=2 Regarding 'cloning'. You could just clone the CF image. How about you try that and see how far you get? Alternatively you could write a little script which partitions your CF, creates file systems and installs your custom astlinux image. That isn't hard either.
