I believe that these channels will not work on astlinux, but I'll let the
developers explain why.

I have got google voice to work for dialing out using the callback
method....

Callback method requires a system executable called from the dialplan (I
used PHP), then "parking" the outbound call and waiting for google voice to
callback. When the incoming call from google voice is received it is
attached to the parked outgoing call.  Its a little messy, we don't use it
for our primary calling, but is a useful fallback (and some of their calling
rates to overseas mobiles are cheeper than our primary carrier).
