Tom, Good question. You could boot into "shell" via the RUNNIX boot prompt, create a /tmp/kd directory mount point, then mount the /dev/sda3 or (/dev/sda2 if you have a combined partition) and mount it as ext2 to /tmp/kd . Then find the /tmp/kd/rc.conf.d/gui.firewall.conf file (assuming you use the web interface) and edit the file and set SHAPETYPE="". Then cd / , sync, umount the volume and exit the runnix shell to reboot.
