Hi Tom,

Can internal clients reach the AstLinux box?  If so then we can assume the eth0 
NIC's protection diode is zapped, so switch eth0 to an unused NIC and 
reconfigure AstLinux accordingly.

If internal clients can't also reach the AstLinux box, try a new power supply, 
quick and simple to replace.

If all else fails, a net5501 swap is probably required.
