HI, Both Michael and I tested this, and it works with AstLinux provided your server configs don't have [ Cert. + User/Pass ] enabled or the Raw Command: "topology p2p" defined.
The configuration process is quite complicated for iOS. You have to hack together an OpenVPN client "client.ovpn" configuration file, with the CA added enclosed with <ca> </ca> tags from the OpenVPN client credentials download from AstLinux. Then you email yourself that "client.ovpn" file together with the "client.p12" cert/key file. Then read your email on iOS, install the "client.p12" cert/key by using the password found in your README.txt. Then open "client.ovpn" via the OpenVPN app to import the options. With the iOS OpenVPN 1.0.0 app, unfortunately: 1) Can't specify your client options is a normal way. 2) Can't use the CA from your System Profile, only the imported "client.p12" is accessible from the System Profile. So for now, IMHO, if you want a simple VPN solution for iOS, stick with IPSec: IPsec VPN for iOS, OS X & Windows http://doc.astlinux.org/userdoc:tt_ipsec_vpn_apple_ios Lonnie On Jan 25, 2013, at 3:12 AM, Ingmar Schraub wrote: > Not tested yet, but might be interesting for some of us. > > Ingmar > > „OpenVPN Connect“ von OpenVPN Technologies > https://itunes.apple.com/de/app/openvpn-connect/id590379981?mt=8 > > > <Image-1.png> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Master Visual Studio, SharePoint, SQL, ASP.NET, C# 2012, HTML5, CSS, MVC, Windows 8 Apps, JavaScript and much more.
