Sorry for this but being a basic user of astlinux I have to ask this question
in the only way I know how.

A new router at home was having issues keeping my astpbx in it's device
table and used to come back with unknown device after a few hours. So I
decided to change the DHCP settings on the router so that the lease time
was down at 3 hours. It has solved the issue as astpbx now stays in the
device table allowing my SIP phones to always find it, but:

I looked at the status page today and noticed the following happening

Oct 7 04:00:01 astpbx cron.info crond[302]: crond: USER root pid 2543
cmd /usr/sbin/logrotate /etc/logrotate.conf >/dev/null 2>&1

So in fact the astpbx is renewing every 1.5 hours even though it knows the
lease time is 10800 seconds.
Do I have a setting wrong anywhere, is it a bug, or a hardware issue or
perhaps the router? What simple tests could I do.
The unit is a HP thin client 5730, it does not have any problems keeping
time etc, or, I do not think it does.
Cheers
Adrian
