Hi Stefan,

additionally there is a variable for your "user.conf" that makes all log files 
persistent:

### Persistent Logs
### If this variable is defined, logs are saved to the keydisk instead of RAM
PERSISTLOG=yes

Otherwise you can include your own stuff into custom startup-scripts at 
"/mnt/kd/rc.local" and "/mnt/kd/rc.local.stop" (they are not existing by 
default).
