Hi Lonnie

Sorry for not asking earlier, but is there any advantage/disadvantage in using
this board type for VMWare ESXi?
If there are disadvantages then should the name be a little more Xen specific?

PS. My VM customer has been running like a charm!

Hi,

In development for the next release, the AstLinux team has added a new board
type "genx86_64-vm".

This board type is specifically designed for virtual machines using KVM/Xen and
Virtio paravirtualized drivers.

Anyone who is interested, we would appreciate testing. Feel free to privately
email me for a link to an "astlinux-1.0-7585-genx86_64-vm.iso" installer ISO.

This new documentation entry shows how the open source XenServer and XenCenter
Windows client can be used to create an AstLinux VM...

BTW, the above example was all performed via VMware Fusion on OS X.
