Hi Lonnie Sorry for not asking earlier, but is there any advantage/disadvantage in using this board type for VMWare ESXi? If there are disadvantages then should the name be a little more Xen specific?
PS. My VM customer has been running like a charm! This board type is specifically designed for virtual machines using KVM/Xen and Virtio paravirtualized drivers. Anyone who is interested, we would appreciate testing. Feel free to privately email me for a link to an "astlinux-1.0-7585-genx86_64-vm.iso" installer ISO. This new documentation entry shows how the open source XenServer and XenCenter Windows client can be used to create an AstLinux VM... XenServer http://doc.astlinux.org/userdoc:guest_vm_xenserver BTW, the above example was all performed via VMware Fusion on OS X.
