I found newer files, can I only copy into var/lib/asterisk/soundso r do I have
to create subfolder "de" and copy in there?

Use this URL: http://mirror.astlinux.org/asterisk-sounds
But the soundfiles are quite old (from Asterisk 1.4 or so).
Only the core sounds and I think only in alaw and gsm.
