Hi Michael, I haven't seen any relevant mini-ITX boards recently. I follow the pfSense Hardware forum https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?board=5.0 for ideas, though they often want heftier hardware than what we typically need.
Though the Jetway NF9HG-2930 https://doc.astlinux-project.org/userdoc:board_jetway_nf9hg-2930 is still a very good board, but your thoughts are correct. Kind of hard to find here in the US as well. Even looking at Jetway's site http://www.jetwaycomputer.com/Intel.html they don't seem to have any 3 or 4 NIC mini-ITX boards beyond the NF9HG-2930. Thanks goodness PC Engines is offering the APU2.
