Hi Michael,

Thanks for your answer, I understand it and that analog lines are disappearing
in most areas and specifically on professional environments (it's the same here
in Europe) but expected still support for home / SOHO users and less developped
areas; perhaps not new developments for old hardware but at least keeping
support for them...one of the reasons I like Linux is that is a way of avoiding
programmed obsolescence.

We'll have to adapt again in the name of progress...

Regards and keep your excellent work.

Hi Gonzalo

Unfortunately everything has a life and we are forced to change because it
becomes too difficult to support moving forward.
In my country (Australia), analogue lines are basically dead and I have never
actually supported an analogue line (FXO) in the 10 years I have been playing
with Asterisk.

Regards
Michael Knill

I really can't understand stopping dahdi support for these cards as they are
still easily found at low prices on AliExpress and others and the cheapest way
to connect an Asterisk box to PSTN lines/devices (even cheaper than ATA boxes
and without the need of an external device).

Regards.
