Hello again.
I've tried ath5k_pci of new 2.6.26 kernel without success.
The card is correctly recognized
Jul 14 20:53:38 server kernel: ath5k_pci 0000:02:00.0: registered as 'phy0'
Jul 14 20:53:38 server kernel: phy0: Selected rate control algorithm 'pid'
Jul 14 20:53:38 server kernel: ath5k phy0: Atheros AR5424 chip found
(MAC: 0xa3, PHY: 0x61)
but /var/log/messages says :
__ratelimit: 7 messages suppressed
ath5k phy0: noise floor calibration failed (5745MHz)
ath5k phy0: ath5k_chan_set: unable to reset channel (5745 Mhz)

ath0: failed to set freq to 5750 MHz for scan
ath0: failed to set freq to 5755 MHz for scan
ath0: failed to set freq to 5760 MHz for scan
and iwconfig ath0 show this:
