Thanks for the patches. I tried them on 2.6.26 kernel with compat-wireless-old-2008-10-17 and AR5414 hardware (MAC: 0xa5, PHY: 0x61). On one computer with x86 kernel it works OK, even with WPA. But it's quite slow (only ~2Mbit on 802.11g) and traffic stalls every 4 seconds for about a half second. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get it to work on other computer with amd64 kernel. I can connect to the hostap AP, but get no ping reply.
