hi,
I have a problem with txpower.
When I set for example 17dBm as txpower on my AP I can see that it's changed to
this value in iwconfig but it seems that it's not really at 17dBm.
Because when I use madwifi instead of ath5k I can get about 5 times more power
than ath5k at this txpower.
For example at 17dBm and same environment and distance and ... with madwifi my
signal level at client side is about -20dBm and with ath5k it's about -90dBm
and
connection is almost done.
I use Router Station Pro and openwrt updated trunk.
Please help
