Is there any chance of a hook being put into ath5k so that it could be enabled or disabled with an iwpriv or something similar. It seems like it is part of the 802.11e framework http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_802.11e-2005#NoAck It would also be useful for anyone doing long distance networking or experimenting with TDMA based MAC layers.
