I have a link using a system running linux 3.13 which has a wireless card which lspci describes as:-
Qualcomm Atheros AR5413/AR5414 Wireless Network Adapter [AR5006X(S) 802.11abg] (rev 01) Both ends of the link are the same. The link is 3.5km long, and over a slightly difficult topology, so the signal strength is not wonderful. The distribution is Debian sid. Most of the time the link runs just fine, but every now and then the link drops, and only way to restart the link is to ifdown and then ifup at both ends of the link. Any ideas as to how to persuade the link to reassociate on its own?
