Hi Serguey, The boot uses wpa_suplicant and inside wpa_supplicant the scan occurs. it is not an "iw wlanX scan" per say, rather its equivalent.
we used the iw wlanX scan as an erzatz to try to isolate the problem Sorry if I got you confused.
