I am transmitting from one node to other using iperf at a decent input rate. I am seeing some packets drops which i cannot explain.
Say, I have transmitted 5000 packets, and the received number of packets are 4990. At the transmitter if I use athstats, then the only error I get is xretry , which is just 1 or 2. I am not able to explain the loss of other 9 packets. Note that there is no loss due to queue-full. Furthermore, if the surround interference is increased then this dependency between expected and actual drop packets is increased.
