Hello,
        I am running Debian 5.0 Lenny with a 2.6.32 kernel.  I have a D-Link 
DWA-552 which is being reported as an Atheros AR9280+AR5133 in my dmesg output. 
 I think it's a newer version of the DWA-552 because I see the DWA-552 listed 
with the 5416 Atheros chip on your site.

        I had hoped to use this wireless adapter in master mode, but when I run:
                        iwconfig wlan0 mode master

        I get the following error:
                        Error for wireless request "Set Mode" (8B06) :
                            SET failed on device wlan0 ; Invalid argument.
        
        I have been able to switch the adapter into Managed, Monitor, and 
Ad-Hoc modes.  Secondary mode gives the same error as master.  Repeater gives 
"Operation not supported".

        Looking through your site it sounds like master mode is supported.  Am 
I doing something wrong?
