Hello Darla, your memory was right on.
With the Word Document open, press insert + V, and then the letter V again
to bring up the virtual ribbon option.
Then space bar to turn off the option and tab to O K.
Thanks

If memory serves, Steve; use insert V for verbosity and arrow down until you
see the virtual ribbon setting and hit spacebar until it says it is turned
off and click OK.

Subject: [ATI] JAWS 13, Word 2007 and virtual ribbons

Hello, I am learning how to navigate the ribbons in Word 2007. I guess I
somehow turned on the "virtual ribbon" feature in JAWS 13.

I don't know how I did this, but I don't think I like this feature turned
on.

I seem to do better navigating the ribbons with the use of tab, shift tab,
up and down arrows and thru the use of hot keys.

How do I turn the virtual ribbon option off?

Thanks for any help.

Steve Crews
