        Seminars@Hadley Presents: Selling on eBay

        Date: Wednesday, April 4, 2012

Time: 2:00 PM CDT, 19:00 GMT

The online auction Web site eBay is where millions of items are bought
and sold every day around the world. It is also a site that can provide
opportunities for blind and visually impaired entrepreneurs. In this seminar,
Mark Riccobono, executive director of the Jernigan Institute at the National
Federation of the Blind, will discuss how the NFB and eBay have been working
together to improve accessibility. Tonia Gatton, a successful blind eBay
entrepreneur, will share her strategies for success on the site. Mark and Tonia
will show you why they believe it is a great opportunity for blind and visually
impaired individuals.

Join Seminars@Hadley as Mark and Tonia provide tips for utilizing eBay
to open up a world of business opportunities.
This seminar will be moderated by Larry Muffett, a member of Hadley’s
Curricular Affairs team. A question and answer period will be included as part
of the seminar.
