Maybe ATI should buy one from them as a door prize, or sell raffle tickets for one. That might give them insentive to bring their product to us.

Chris, I've been in touch with these guys and am trying to get them to be a vender at the MCB convention. I'm really excited about this scanner and want to try to get one soon. I've listened to the online presentation and am amazed at how much it scans and how many websites it accesses to gather information. Plus, with owners of this product entering in more information that was not available, it's just a matter of time before there is a huge storage of barcode info. This is the first time I've heard of these guys but if you've got some pull with them Chris, Maybe you'd have a better chance of getting them to come to the convention.

Subject: [ATI] Barcode Scanner

Hi Everybody:

I rarely pass along advertisements, but here is one that really impressed me today.

I've always felt that barcode scanning was a completely different animal than labeling. And, barcode scanning has always felt prohibitively expensive to me. I'm not sure why I have felt this way because I have not hesitated to spend far more on braille technology just as one example.

Anyway, I heard a verbal ad about an hour ago mentioning a new barcode scanner from the AT Guys. I have quite a bit of respect for this company and at $149 with the software and updates free, I had to have a look. If you go to bcscan.com all the details are there along with an excellent audio demonstration and discussion of the system. It's about 10 minutes in length.

Long story short, one of these units is on its way to me now!

I hope this is helpful to some readers here.

Chris
