I was told that the f.b.i. has knowledge of the computers that have this trojan and on Monday will shut those computers down. I went to dns-ok.us to check mine and it's fine. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jeanne Fike" <[email protected]> To: "Nancy Lynn" <[email protected]>; "Adaptive technology information and support." <[email protected]>

Hi Nancy and all,
I have heard of it. There is a virus out there called DNS Changer that originated in Estonia. From what I understand it has affected a small number of computer users and businesses in the US. It diverts your internet path to somewhere else. You can go to www.dcwg.org and have your computer checked.
I went there and mine is fine.
   Jeanne

Has anyone heard about this loss of internet service as of Monday? Apparently a lot of computers have this certain piece of malware that can block your internet connection and the government has been protecting us from it. That protection will stop on Monday, and many people will lose their internet connection. The website Truth Or Fiction says this is true. What do you plan to do about it for yourself?
