Try this:
Go to your start menu and type in, uninstall.
Arrow down to, uninstall programs and press enter.
Tab to, view installed updates and press enter.
Arrow down to, Internet Explorer 9.
Press your applications key and press enter on, uninstall.

I am using windows 7 and I have IE 9. I wish to go back to IE 8 since I
currently am working on a job assessment website that apparently does not
want to work with IE 9. I also, am not fund of 9. Can someone tell me how
