what will cost you is the data plan , unless you have unlimited data , this
can take a chunk out of your wallet.
I switched to Sprint as the cost of their plan was the best for us . They
have unlimited data , text messaging , and mobile to mobile, the land lines
time is limited to 450 minets per phone or you can bump it up to a larger
amount or go unlimited .
we are paying far less with Sprint than AT&T , as they do not have unlimited
data , and it cost $30 extra a month for unlimited texting, which is what
my sons use most of the time.
I have an iphone .
If you could get a used iphone from AT&T you could go to T Mobile and they
will flash your phone, they start at $45 a month .
as far as GPS stick with ones like TOMTOM, Garman, , or Navigon as these all
are good and work well with voiceover on the iphone.

Yeah, I think that's the plan my kid has and he really likes it. I'm just
trying to sort out all this phone crap and find a phone and inexpensive plan
that will give me GPS and a little more than I have now with the Haven
