It has a tuner, the docking station, an antenna and a remote and cables. But you hook it up to a speaker or stereo with the cables. Mine is running through a Bose radio. But there are lots of choices depending on whether you want a stand alone receiver or a tuner. I would consider contacting XM and discussing options with them and see what works for you.
