Subject: Currency Reader Program Open To All Citizens

As of January 2nd, 2015, the NLS Currency Reader pilot project ended.
Because the program is now open to all citizens/legal residents of the U.S.
who are unable to read regular print because of a visual impairment, Wolfner
Library is no longer directly involved in setting up patrons for this
program.

If you are still interested in signing up for a currency reader, and you
missed the pilot program through Wolfner Library, you may visit the
following url to access the application:
www.moneyfactory.gov/uscurrencyreaderform.html

You may print a copy of the BEP application and mail it to the address
indicated on the form. If you have any further questions or concerns about
the currency readers, please contact the BEP call center at 1-844-815-9388.

Those who are already Wolfner patrons do not need to have the BEP
application certified but instead check the box on the BEP application
indicating that they are already a certified NLS patron.

As always, Wolfner Library's Reader Advisors are happy to help if you have
any questions about this program or any of the services Wolfner provides to
our community of patrons in Missouri.

Thank You and Happy New Year!
