Hi Sarah,
So excited for you! You received your iPhone through the TAP Wireless
program and that program doesn't provide 1-on-1 training, but instead gives
you resources for learning. We've pre-loaded the manual and "VO Starter"
app on your iPhone that will get you going. John had some good resources
and here are some other resources also,

Feel free to contact Stacy Brady, the TAP Wireless Coordinator, with any
questions. Have fun!

Hello John,

Thank you so much for the helpful tips. I live close to St. Louis and I'll
give the society a call tomorrow.

Kind regards,

Sarah

Sarah, I would recommend Getting Started with the iPhone and IOS from
National Braille Press. They have other books as well that will help you. I
know our moderator can suggest some other helpful tutorials and material to
get you started. I'm thinking you might live in St Louis and if so, you
could contact the St Louis Society for the Blind for some instruction. If
you don't, then never mind. John

Subject: [ATI] Asking for I6 phone help!

Hello everyone,

I finally did it and received my I6 phone from Missouri Assistive
Technology. Now, where can I find instructions, support and/or any
information on how to use the phone? I'm totally blind and know many blind
and visually impaired people use the I phone. Any and all help is welcome!
I'm anxious to get started on learning this awesome device!

Thank you and everyone have a wonderful Memorial Day!

Sarah Calhoun
